Organisations introducing a flexible working strategy must make it as simple as possible for staff to book workspace when they visit company offices.

In addition to booking desks in advance using Resource Central, we recommend the use of ResourceXpress touch screen technology to support ad-hoc bookings on arrival and to help staff locate their optimum desk. Providing an easy way for staff to check in and check out of desks, whether booked in advance or on the day, is also vital to ensure optimum workspace utilisation.

Touch Screen Booking

Strategically placed screens can be used to give staff a floor-plan style view of all available workspaces and enable ad-hoc booking.

Clear colour-coding is used (red=booked, green=free) to give clear visibility of resource status.

Users can then simply touch a free screen to book it, with the ability to say how many hours they want to book the desk for.

There's also the option for on-screen authentication (using a login or PIN number linked with Active Directory or using the company-standard swipe or RFID card system).
