Hot Desking

Hot desking, also known as desk sharing or hotelling, has experienced a resurgence in the past years due to organisations eagerly searching for ways to improve their bottom line. As employees continue to spend more and more time in the field, hot desks become an obvious solution to cutting costs without cutting efficiency, customer service or jobs.

How can hot desking positively affect your organisation?

  • Reduced Carbon Emissions
  • Reduced Administrative Costs
  • Reduced Property Costs
  • Reduced Energy Consumption

Overview

Resource Central enables organisations to manage their hot desk facilities in the simplest, most efficient way ever.

Hot desking and any other related resources and services such as room booking, car parking and phone re-routing, can be booked via Outlook.

Users choose their preferred location from a graphical floorplan, and required services (such as a laptop docking system or nearby printer) can be specified and established as 'defaults' for the next booking.

Behind the scenes, staff responsible for maintaining hot desk facilities receive notifications of service requests, cleaning schedules, utilisation reports and so on.
